Director, Agri-Food Systems
Dr. Margam brings broad international agrifood systems experience across academia, industry, consulting, agritech startups, and development. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Entomology (Purdue University, University of Kentucky) and a B.Sc. (Ag) from ANGRAU. His early work combined lab and field research on insect developmental biology, resistance management, trait efficacy, and PICS grain storage. He has worked in the USA, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and India, holding various roles including Post-Doctoral Research Associate (Purdue, KAUST), Research Scientist (DuPont Pioneer), Director of Research (Aspire Food Group), and VP Communities & Engagement at Kalgudi Digital before joining the Foundation as Director, Technologies.
